Computer subs ****!

Is it just me, or does every PC sub ****? I went from an Altec Lansing set to a high end Creative set and the sub sucks, horribly. So much port noise along with everything under 35hz being nearly inaudible.

I want to be able to enjoy my bass frequencies like I do in my HT/car. . . Am I out of luck using computer speakers?

I got this set a few months back to match my PC setup and the sub is amazing! biggest PC speakers I've seen!

Not bad for $100 from sony.

I know that I can build my own. I'm just wondering if all comp subs are shitty like that regardless of the brand. I've got my old 15" HD3 that'll go in my room in a little bit.

Same thing happened to me with my logitech sounded to flappy and sucked on the lows. So I got a plate amp and a 15" CVR.

for me it was more they dont hit hard enough.

i like my klipsch promedia 2.1 the older style with the bigger amp, made in '03.

I am running a Logitech THX 2.1 system. The 8" sub it comes with pounds and gets low

I'm using a 10" Kicker Comp and a cheap *** plate amp.
