As many of you know, It is often difficult to get good sound quality out of mp3's when played in your car stereo, even if they are 320k. I was wondering If anyone out there uses any kind of computer software to increase, edit, and normalize the quality of their mp3's prior to burning. Are there any specific programs that are recomended? If so, what are some of the options or filters used to edit audio to get good quality sound used as thumb specifically for car stereo use? Thanks!

Good deal, but I'll admit, probably 90% of my music is mp3 format. I try to keep quality as high as possible. Are there any general changes one makes when editing right off the bat? Like volume normilization or bass reduction? I have a problem with acheving good mid-bass. Should I try to raise the mid range using a certain program's eq before burning?
