hey guys 2 days ago it seems my tower took a crap..im not sure so im hoping someone here can lend a helping hand, when i turn the computer on it makes all the noises like its going to start up, i get the big E symbol because my tower is a emachines..then on the big E symbol the word ANALOG appears..this never used to happen..then 5 seconds later the screen goes all black and a yellow box appears with the words no signal..does anyone know whats the deal? thank you for your help.

Eh.... with a bad video card you wouldn't even get the E, would you? Every time I've had one go out, it's been literally NOTHING.

Oh well.

yeah i just had a pny 7900gs go out on me and it would be intermittent, probably a memory issue. Thank goodness for that lifetime warranty. Shipped it to pny they received it in 2 days and shipped my new one out on the 3rd ups overnight so i got it the 4th day after I sent it off lol. Best warranty experience i have ever had.

You need to know whether you have an AGP slot, a PCI-Express slot, or plain ol' PCI.

Google images to see what they look like

another COMMON problem with e-Machines is the power supply.. they put the bare min Wattage in there they can get away with and it pukes prematurely... willing to bet your MB isnt getting the power it needs. LAst couple I fixed required new p/s... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

your video card is mounted to your MB right? so it isnt getting the power it needs from the motherboard. let alone the processor... Id check it first

eMachines are the devil. Just throw it in a trashfire to keep some homlesss people warm tonight and go buy something less retarded.

Also lol @ that pic. They list the eject buttons as features.

ive always thought it was the power supply has well, there is a place by my house that fixes pc...and they find out whats wrong with them for free...so i will let them look at it..and if the problem is not expensive i will let them fix it..in case the problem is expensive and i just decide to buy a new one what tower do you guys suggest for $450 and under?

the guy looked at it today and it was my motherboard and cpu or something i cant remember..and he pulled them and it was fryed from leaving my computer on too long..and i admit i have..so hes giving me all new parts that are up to todays technology from the one that i had with installation for $150 which i prefer then buying a new one for $500
