Computer help please look.

Ok i just installed an ati radeon x1300 video card and a stick of 512mb ram. My games look a lot better now, and play faster, but sometimes, like in gta 3, the screen really slows down and looks jumpy. FYI, its also highly modded, so that might be it too. The thing that is really annoying is almost everytime i click the mouse in any game, it exits out of the game now. WTF is causing this? AIM dabassdude06. HIT ME UP PLEASE.

I don't know shit about video cards, but isn't that video card kind of on the low end of the todem pole? You may still just need a better card, the memory should help some though./

The 1300 is not a really good gaming card anymore(nor was it). I'd suggest turning down the settings on your game, and see how that works. I know how it is to buy a card that you knew just a while back was great, and you get it, and its crap. I'm still running on my two 7800gt's (both volt modded, and on water @ 554/1300), and they're barely making it through some of the newer games...

Also, if you try this program called "fraps", you can see your framerate in the corner of the screen, and see exactly how much your game is lagging on you.

thanks caliboy, made the games faster. Still have the problem with clicking the mouse ingame exits me out.

anybody know about how to fix the mouse problem? it only occurs on gta III i found out.
