I purchased a new computer recently because something happened to my last one that i was unable to fix.

Problem:

On bootup black screen says:

NTLDR is missing

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

I googled everything and none of the solutions are working for me does anyone here have a clue? Running WINDOWS XP

change the first boot device to optical drive in the bios, make sure your windows disc is in the drive and shut down

restart, delete and remake the partitions, format them and reinstall

do you have any external harddrives attached, my dell will look for bootup at all the usbs and if anything is plugged in it will give me that exact issue...unplug and restart... if not then put in disc and repair...GL

do you have another machine you could burn an iso from? I may be able to supply the neccessary tools //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
