Ok. Need some serious opinions about what Im going to be upgrading to. Looking for good game performance while keeping it easy on the wallet. Have other things to spend tons of money on.

-XFX 8600GTS PCI-E 256 DDR3

-Asus mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131095

-Seagate Barracuda 250gig Sata

-A 64x2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103774

-Gskill mem 2gig http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231098

And along with my watercooling setup. Won't be playing intense games but should rock for the money spent?

Get yourself a nice socket T board and then upgrade the proc to the allendale e2140. This proc is an outrageous overclocker. there have been 100% overclocks on this chip. it will cost ya about 25-30 bucks up front but the overclocking potential makes the deal to sweet to pass up. you already got the watercooling setup so go for eeteeet!!

id take an 2900pro over any 8600 cards ay day.

Not at stock speeds in the same price range (at least in most cases) ...
If you're overclocking, yeah, Intel walks all over AMD ...

hmmmm..... wanna compare an intel E6600 to an X2 6000+ ?????

the 6000+ is 600 mhz faster and the E6600 kicks it's *** in just about every single thing a processor can do..... not sure what procs you've been using but 99.9% of the world has found that amd is so far behind it's a miracle they're still in business...

even their new phenom proc is having a tough time at only 100mhz in speed slower than the Q6600...... the intel proc is generally 40% faster in all benchmarks and real life usage than the amd proc...

and lo and behold the intel quad is also cheaper..... go figure huh?

Uh ... those 2 CPUs are pretty much equal in performance ...

The 6000+ won 19 benchmarks, the E6600 won 15 benchmarks, and they tied on 1. Seems pretty fvcking even to me ...

And the 6000+ is going for $160 on Newegg. The E6550, which is slightly slower than the E6600 (which is no longer available), is going for $175. Seems to me that the 6000+, being faster at stock speeds and cheaper, would be a better deal if you're not overclocking.

And both models of the Phenoms ($190, $225) are significantly cheaper than the Q6600 ($275).

Please ... pass me whatever the fvck you're smoking ...

get a socket 775 mobo and get an e6750 for $190, friggin great processor that will OC like mad on air if u need it to. get either an 8800gt or if u want something cheaper for for either an ati 3850 or 3870 both are really good budget cards.
