Comps $200 midbass

Whats a good set of comps for around 200? Im upgrading from the kicker rs5c comps so just about anything would be a good upgrade. Im planning on getting the 6.5 drivers though because I want better midbass. Also selling the kicker comps if anyone is interested. And for the new drivers hopefully they are not too deep because my doors are a bit shallow.

i dont know prices, but focal, diamond, rainbow, seas, to name a few. i posted many threads about midbass when i was looking for comps and the response i got was that pretty much all comps lack midbass. youll need dedicated midbass drivers. i did however, hear that my MBQs have good midbass from a reliable source, so i got them and they do alright.

you could wait for the adire mid to be finshed, from what they have been saying this little mid will be insane.

i will be using the kx450.2. I need them to be 4 ohms. So I will be able to give each side at least 100 watts. Not that I want to have to give them that much though.

well I have thought about those but I mean I already have the ef mids and from what I hear from those they dont have a lot of mid bass. Maybe with alot more power but I kinda want some efficient drivers.

are your doors sound deadened? that would give you better midbass responce

well I plan on deadening them more if I buy a new set of comps.
