Thanks. I guess we're I'm struggling is what are we referring to when we say clean up the signal? I have read just what u said on more than one occasion but with little definition I to what that really means. The stock eq / processing adjusts the output levels per speaker based on volume levels. I can mitigate that issue with the lc7i. I am not opposed to a sound processor by any means but want to understand the value I gain by going that route. I am not on an audiophile by any means. Just like music at absurdly loud levels with minimum distortiono with absolute clarity. You guys know more than I do in this respect.

Most stock decks use 12 or 16 bit dacs along with pre set eq curves. The signal when cranked up will be very distorted from the preset eq curve and the weak signal processing. The manufacturers build these stock head units as cheap as possible for mass production purposes so you cant expect much out of it. A DSP uses floating point 28 to 31 bit processors, which gives an amazing SQ boost to even stock speakers. They have digital surround sound that creates imaging that puts you in the center of a concert performance. Never ever underestimate the power of a good signal. It does wonders for sound quality. Just get ms8 put all the dash speakers and tweeters on the jbl ms8 amp and put a dedicated amp to your door speakers. That alone will make a big difference, stock speakers can surprise you with proper processing and power, stock amps are weak.
