Component Help !!!!

Here are my options and prices that I can get:

Rainbow Professional CS 365 P3 - $350

Boston Pro 6.53 - $400

JL XR653 CS - $295

Either way, they would be plugged into a JL 300/2 amp.

I think I am going to go with the rainbows...

I have had bostons before and I loved them... I have heard the JL's and they are sub par for my high end front stage setup.

I would like other, unbiased opinions, however.

I only heard the jls's before and they sounded good. Before i spent about 4000 dollars on my system i literally listened to all the major/most popular brands that high end audio shops had. by far the mb quart q series which i have now, were the best speakers i ever heard. There so **** loud and clear it is insane.

For SQ i prefer the Boston's . But then again, it depends on your taste. Boston's have a soft sounding tweet. MBquarts sound just as clean if not cleaner , and have a crisper tweet. I personally thought that the JL's sounded a little muddy (but that is just my oppinion.)

I myself like the soft tweet sound. I dont like it when all the high frequencies just jump out and somewhat want to kill your ears. Besides my ears are very sensitive to high pitched sounds so when I hear to much highs it kills me

im the same... I tone down the high frequencies on my eq

thanks for yalls opinions but im gonna go with the Rainbow's...

im going out on a limb gettins something that I have never heard before but I have faith that they will be some good speakers since they retail for a shit load and im getting them for so little
