completely wireless tv hook up?? (weird question)

For all practical purposes, the answer is no. yea you could do the speakers wirelessly, but for the same price you could get some really nice traditional stuff. No TV has built in HDMI streaming capability.

Obviously everything still has to be plugged in for power unless you want to fill your house with radioactive gas...just kidding, but it was done (and the guy died).

Just tell your friend to drill the wall like everyone else on earth, or run the wires up the wall and cleverly cover them with something (like a center channel speaker on a stand).
