Ive been looking for a new(er) car for a while and am just not satisfied with whats available in the market.. I know new cars are a terrible investment, but oh well, you gotta buy what you like , right?

On that note, since 2009 Kia has REALLY made huge improvements in their technology, engineering, and designs, and are really coming up in the auto world ( finally! ) .. I was originally looking at a Kia Koup, which resembles a Honda Civic, but then thought , for about 4-5K more I could have a Full size car with great quality that still gets 25/35 MPG... What do you guys think, I think they did a great job on this car, and I guess we will see next month

First 2011 Optima on the road

meh. Good cars but I prefer to keep my funds with U.S auto manufacturers.
AS soon as they learn how to keep up with the competitive market , so will I.. American cars are chinsy plastic, and the offer no added benefits to the proven , more reliable, Better warrantied, and less expensive alternatives

The new Malibu , is the First American car I looked at and said, WOw, this is a chevy?

But then I look at the price tag.. Oh yea 30K... Its a chevy

Once again, I'd pay a bit more to support our economy. This is a big reason why our economy is in the shitter. The new taurus is an awesome car.... expensive but very nice. American manufacturers are turning the corner.

I believe 2 Kia cars are made in America, So its not 100% Korean made. Our Economy is in the shitter for alot bigger reasons that the Auto industry, but thats a whole different argument for a different thread.. Bottom line is if America made cars for the AVERAGE middle class consumer that were not pure plastic garbage, then they would have a better outcome in this industry.. A civic, a Kia Coupe, or even a Corolla S, has Vey nice interior design and most important a heavily backed warranty, most of them @ 20 yr/ 200,000 mile including all the new Kias..

So if you would quit hating on the country for a second and realize that PPL in general are having a hard time with this economy, then you would realize most of us cant pay 30-45,000 for a NICE american made vehicle , with a 5 yr / 60,000 mile warranty.. Thats a slap in the face and basically says, we dont want to back our cars for that long because of our reputation..

Think before you speak , and look outside of the box your in for a second....

Where did you see kia has a 20 year warranty? I thought it was a 10 year 100,00 mile warranty. You have to buy what you like and what you can afford. I would like an awd fusion but 28000 is a little much for me

there were multiple dealerships around the country with that warranty.. Its far from un common

And yes Like I said.. the New Taurus and Malibu are very nice.. But wtf.. This car looks just as good ( IMO better than the Malibu ) for 10K less with a better warranty and much better MPG...
