I am sure the people of this forum absolutely love audio wiring handicapped newbs ******* up there bandwidth. If that is that case I will figure it out myself but I could really use a hand.

I have an 84 Datsun, the previous owner ripped the radio out and all of its wiring is pretty torn up. I am wanting to just completely go around the cars factory wiring.

I am wanting a very basic and lightweight setup, being no more than 180 watts. 2 Small speakers up front, and 2 mediums in the back. ( I told you am audio retarded...)

With a small setup I will not need an amp. How do I go about wiring it straight to a battery and not have it drain it?

Can someone point me in the right direction on this simple install?

Thank you,

Audio-reted newb.

so basically you want a radio and 4 speakers, and to run all new wiring?

if thats the case just run wires to the 4 speakers. you can get the constant and accessory from the ignition wires. for ground, just find a good spot behind the radio.

or just pick up a small boombox with a power adapter j/k
