Also you must remember that no comicbook to big screen transition is going to be 100%. I'm sure that there are some "big, fat, bald, white guys" out there that can fit the role appearance wise, but can they fit the role of the "kingpin" and still come across as being believeable? Sometimes you have to go with the least obvious to get the best performance, take for example Micheal (Mr. Mom) Keaton, who would have ever cast him as the Batman, yet he was by far the best of all the people cast to play the role.
