come on stoners...

well its not about stopping pre employement drug tests for the recreational smoker (as i understand it) or stopping the invasion of privacy. its really about letting the medical marijuana patients use it without worrying about reprecussions.
as it stands right now, you can still fire a medical marijuana patient regardless of a prescription.

if you dont feel like writing in, but you do smoke, then dont do it. but its about time some of you guys actually participated int he cause instead of just standin by idley
How many people do you think who legally smoke medical marijuana actually need it?

But hey, as a casual smoker, I like what you are doing here.

BTW: I wrote in.

I don't smoke, but I could care less who does. My parents were hippies, hell they still are for the most part and from time to time still toke up.

I still find roach clips when I go over there. They try and hide it from me, but I just tell them do what you want.

Mom is retired from Delphi Packard and dad runs his own Midas shop and owns his own landscaping business.

So..................

Even though I can't get a prescription for it in Florida, I would be eligible for one and it does help my condition GREATLY when I smoke. There are some nights where I wouldn't be able to sleep without it as I would have to constantly be getting up and in a lot of pain.

I'm sure many people just get a prescription so they can smoke casually (I would too so I wouldn't have to worry about any legal repercussions) but what's wrong with that? You shouldn't have to worry about losing your job over weed, period. If the bill helps some of those people (medical patients or casual smokers) then more power to it. It's just one step closer to decriminalization. Hopefully one day we will get back to when marijuana didn't have such an unjust bias against it -- back when Thomas Jefferson and George Washington used to grow fields of it and nobody had any issues at all.

"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

... well, I guess he was right about the statement but now it's more like my life can be ruined while trying to pursue happiness due to my liberties of what I put into my body being taken away from me.

And yea, I'm totally baked right now and killing some chicken wings and mac and cheese.
