Colts win!

On one hand I can see where you guys are coming from on Manning not deserving the MVP. I thought before it was announced that it was going to be a bit of a stretch to give it to him.

On the other hand, what one person deserved it more than he. I don't think you can say both running backs. That just seems to say that the running game, overall, was more important than the passing game overall. Is there a precedent for giving THE Most Valuable Player award to two players?

Also, do you really think that either of the RB's was more important than Manning? I think that if Manning had gone down with an injury on the first play the outcome would have been more likely to be different than if one of the RB's had gone down.

I think that it is a tough call. But there is no doubt that Manning had the advantage on that award going into the game. It was an uphill battle for everyone else on the Colts.

Without the running game, the colts would not have won. PERIOD! Addai & Rhodes should've been named Co-MVPs.

Without a pass rush, the colts would not have won.

Without defensive backs the colts would not have won.

Without an offensive line the colts would not have won. etc.,

I still dont see why everyone is blaming Rex for the loss. He had 1 int and 1 fumble that were HIS fault and thats it. His 2nd int Muhamad didnt even attempt to jump for the ball and benson fumbled the ball. If it werent for Grossman we wouldnt have made it to the superbowl.

Also it looks like we WILL be resigning Jones since Benson might not even be ready by spring training.

Manning did not deserve MVP at all. The colts special teams are *****s.

The only reason I hate the Colts is because of Manning. He cries like a little ***** and the NFL loves to tend to his needs.

In fact, I am pretty sure that the NFL was going to award him MVP well before the SB began no matter how well or poorly he played as long as the Colts won.

hmm

Hell no it wont happen, hes the Bears quarterback. Lovie and the team has said it all year and last night after the superbowl. He got them to a superbowl in his first year as Quarterback. Thats good no matter what anyone says. With a little more disapline he will be a very very good quarterback, up near the top.

Manning did not deserve it, there defence carried them to the superbowl and the running game won the game them. I would have gave mvp to bob sanders, but i defensive guy, and i hate payton manning with a passion

I hope hes on the cover of Madden next year

becuase rex couldnt get nothin going, he had 2 or 3 muffed snaps, but i think only 1 fumble was lost. He couldnt get a pass downfield, all he did was dump off of passes and rely on his recievers/backs to make it happen. That why im blaming him. They couldnt get a **** thing for a drive in the 2nd half, so the defence was on the field for waaaaaay to long and got tired. Thats rex's fault for not keeping the offence on the field. Plus he consistly throught garbage balls, i could done as good a job as he did, all id have to do is thro it to my check down recievers, not to tuff.

who thinks grossman is getting replaced?
god i hope so, but i dont see it happening:furious:

poor bears fans:crying:
