Anybody here decide not to go to college right after high school? I just turned 21 and decided its time to go back to school. my room mate didnt go to college after high school.

he is a worthless piece of shit who is going to be homeless within the next 3 days, he works a dead end job at the front desk of a hotel (night shift only, they dont want him there during the day when people are coming in), he got fired from being a pizza delivery driver (how hard is it to drive a pizza from point A to point B?), and i am going to be taking his paychecks from him for the next month or so to cover the damages he owes me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

he has made some good decisions in his life so far...

I went back to school and work full time and go to school part time.

I did my undergrad right out of school though.

Where do you go? I went back about 7months ago now and go to the University of Phoenix. Its private so more expensive but I only go one night a week for four hours and should be done in about a year and a half

i did wait to go to college, i pretty much did 3 years in the marines n now i went reserve to go to school. it was really weird gettin used to but i'm doin ok. only bad thing tho is that i had to take the placement tests and i had to take like 2 remedial maths n 1 reading so that set me back. if your going back to school your going to have to cut down on your expenses to be able to be a full time student IMO. i'm not workin right now but i will start a part time job here in the next week.

the genius thought he could smoke and grow pot in my house without me knowing. what he still doesnt know, is that i know. so when the sherrifs deputy issues him a summons for civil and criminal crimes, its going to be quite a shock to him. not to mention when he has to sleep in his car after the locks are changed.

I dropped out and got my GED and I think I am doing ok, granted I had to flip burgers for a few years and prove myself in the culinary industry but I have been getting a steady .08 raise each year since and I am now 32 making $7.89/hr!

I have been thinking of possibly making a big career change, not sure to what yet but I was thinking of possibly moving to the potato division here at work, its .30 cents more an hour and a little closer to the back door so it does not take as long to walk outside and have my cigarettes.

i didnt say that was why he is what he is.

i too would wager that he would have been worthless after college. it was more coincidental that he didnt go to college and he is a piece of shit. and i am still venting about it.

Well right now I wash lettuce. Then maybe in the next year Ill be on fry, after that the grill. Then maybe after ten or fifteen year assistent manager and thats when the big bucks come in!
