Code Alarm, 95 Maxima?

i have just purchased a Code Alarm CA-535 425PK. i am going to try and install it this week. just wondering if u guys have any pointers, or tips. it is going on a 1995 nissan maxima.

don't cut any wires, strip, solder tape.

some you may not use...but wiring diagram will help you alot.

The installation manual will tell you what wires you need to hookup... have you read it?

yea but there are a lot of the same wire that are + or -. and on the diagram there is just one

thats probably the worst unit you could ever attempt to learn on. There are sooo many wires on that thing, and you'll only use probably a third of them. Not to mention programming it will not be fun. Built in shock sensor is super touchy, and difficult to set using the remote. The brain is HUGE, and you'll have to program the transmitters to the system.

Good luck with it.

And the only tip I have is read the install manual about 3 or 4 times before you start on it.

You can actually grab most of your wires in the Dr kick. Parking lights,door trigger,trunk trigger and release, and even the brake.

The car is Very simple to do, Ive done a ton of them, although the Code isnt the easiest POS to learn with as stated above.

Yes you will most likely need a relay for the trunk release, IF you have power trunk release. I dont recall if the Code has a onboard relay or not.
