Clueless: Wiring up mids/highs to 4 channel amps.

I'm in the process of a new build.

4 - ST200 Selenium Super Tweeters (70w RMS)

4 - 6w4p Selenium Mids (100w RMS)

All of them are 8ohm.

Im set in stone on MB Quart 4 channel amps.

______________________________________

MB Quart 4.60

4 ohms: 60 watts x 4 chan.

2 ohms: 120 watts x 4 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohms: 240 watts x 2 chan.

would this be a good option for the ST200's, if so how would I wire them to get the safest/best power possible?

MB Quart 4.100

4 ohms: 100 watts x 4 chan.

2 ohms: 200 watts x 4 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohms: 400 watts x 2 chan

would this be a good option for the 6w4p's, if so how would I wire them to get the safest/best power possible.

Diagrams will be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

no difference.

wire them active. ensure you have adequate crossover abilities.

run the tweeters in parallel (two per side) off amp channels 1&2- 4 ohm stereo.

run the woofers in parallel (two per side) off amp channels 3&4 - 4 ohm stereo.

easy peasy.

the 4.100 would work for above.

if you want to run two amps, then use the amps you listed above in bridged mode. just adjust gains to get the power you want. those tweeters won't need more than 20 watts to be painful.
