Clueless man has clueless question

Hi.

I don't know much at all about car audio and that's why I'm finding myself here. I have just got an old 1980's Cressida and it's still in perfect condition. It has the original tape player in it but I don't want to take it out because I might do something wrong.

I was wondering if there is anything external that i can put on the floor, boot, etc and just connect the speakers to it or something? or am i going to have to copy all my music onto tapes (I have a lot of music)?

I don't want to use my headphones with my iPod because it is hard enough to hear things on the road as it is.

Thanks

eh those things have horrible sound quality. just get a new HU with an ipod or rca input. or you can give an FM transmitter a try, but those usually don't sound too great either unless you can find a radio station that has absolutely nothing on it already.
