I don't think you should be allowed anywhere near audio equiptment......

I think you have the Highpass and Lowpass mixed up. On the headunit you should have the rca's plugged into the subwoofer output, or rear. On the amp it should be connected to the input. Match the colors the same for each on the headunit and amp. Red with red, white with white or whatever color your rca's might be. bust out the DMM and set the input level

GRRR... i tryied to fix the rca cables and its not working i have it in the input on the amp thats fine but the damm headunit is dumb i tryed every which way to try and make it work to adjust the subs on my H/U now on my head unit i have 2 whites and two reds top 2 are white it says line imput and then the bottom one red says rear and other one says front. i have audiobhann rca cables red and black. i need help before i blow a lid!!

Connect the red from the rca to the bottom red post on the heaunit that says rear, connect the black to the associated white plug.

then you shouldnt cut them off at 28, you should switch it to about 35

Its a JVC Kd-LH300. no i dont have a pic of it but i will try later.

k im been reading other post and found a couple things. i do have my power wire running with the rca cables though the whole car i seen in other post that might cause interfernece? and i do have a mono amp if that might mean anything with the rca cables?
