Soundstream 302! 2 03 4ohm mono?

Hi have a soundstream 302 and it says it is 4 to 2ohm mono but after using it at 4 ohm it does get a little hot. Now if I use it a 2 ohm mono will I have a problem or should I just keep it at 4 ohm mono to play it safe and buy another 302 for my dvc4 ohm sub. Thank you.

Well I didn't get an answer so I picked one up off of ebay. Had an unsuspected $100 arrive to me today. So now the new question is what do I do to get both amps gains set properly for each voice coil?

keep an eye on these they are notorius for getting ultra hot.... ive seen some burn up.. fantastic sounding amps but keep an eye on them as far as heat is concerned...you will be fine running at 2ohms, not sure if that is bridged or not though

it should be able to handle 2ohm mono, but they can get quite toasty. i would use the gain setting tutorial right here to set your amps.

Thats it. Anyway I'll probably have a shop with a O-scope and hook it up.
