Hey guys. I have an internally amplified Bazooka nos style bass tube.
After about a year and a half my sub started to make a single click whenever I pushed down on the gas pedal. It only did this when the engine was running and the amp was powered up, even without the rca's hooked up. It also was not affected by volume level.
This lasted for about a year, but just recently it has started to click constantly whenever the engine is on and the amp is powered. There are about 2-3 clicks a second regardless of engine rpm. I dont normally listen to music loud enough to drown it out, so it gets very annoying and I pulled out the fuse for the amp a few days ago so I dont have to listen to it. The sub still worked and played bass same as always though.
The ground is screwed to the frame and not under a bolt for the seat. I also checked over my power wire, and the insulation was fine. I tried using a ferrite filter ring on each wire for the amp without success. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is my amp toast? Engine noise?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Thanks for looking, and thanks in advance for any advice.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
