Clean Sounding Subs

Also,

I thought a 15 will not be able to hit the higher bass for Rock music? Is this true?

Am I better off with 2 MAW-12's? 1 Higher power 12? or 1 15?

What do you guys think?

15's do fine for rock music. I mostly listen to 80's metal and have only run 15's and they sound great.

If you need a box built shoot me a PM as I'm about 45 minutes north of you....

Ascendant Audio is in McHenry, so you could pick up your subs local if that makes a diff. They're supposed to have the new stuff out early July. I've run assassins and SQ was very good.

Before Id even consider suggesting new subs to you, Id want to know how/why your ID's are 'going out'. What did you do to them?
Honestly I really haven't touched the system too much. I got it installed by Excel Audio in Palatine.

I don't sit there and crank anything. Just listen to loud music..

They are about 3 years old now.

Where is Ascendant Audio? Can't seem to find much information online about them.

How much do you usually charge for a box?

Thanks!

A solid speaker like the ID's should have a longer lifespan than 3 years, unless there was a problem.

Will you be installing this system yourself, or having another shop do it again?

I will probably have another shop do it. I am not too good with doing it myself.
