Honestly I really haven't touched the system too much. I got it installed by Excel Audio in Palatine. Before Id even consider suggesting new subs to you, Id want to know how/why your ID's are 'going out'. What did you do to them?
Where is Ascendant Audio? Can't seem to find much information online about them.15's do fine for rock music. I mostly listen to 80's metal and have only run 15's and they sound great.
If you need a box built shoot me a PM as I'm about 45 minutes north of you....
Ascendant Audio is in McHenry, so you could pick up your subs local if that makes a diff. They're supposed to have the new stuff out early July. I've run assassins and SQ was very good.
i highly recommend Mike, he built my box and it was perfect, peep my thread in the enclosure section. the thread is by mlstrass15's do fine for rock music. I mostly listen to 80's metal and have only run 15's and they sound great.

A solid speaker like the ID's should have a longer lifespan than 3 years, unless there was a problem.Honestly I really haven't touched the system too much. I got it installed by Excel Audio in Palatine.
I don't sit there and crank anything. Just listen to loud music..
They are about 3 years old now.
I will probably have another shop do it. I am not too good with doing it myself.A solid speaker like the ID's should have a longer lifespan than 3 years, unless there was a problem.
Will you be installing this system yourself, or having another shop do it again?
