Classifying Amps (High, Middle, Low)

I dont even know how to get to my subs voice coils honestly lol.

And i think im going to go with the AQ 1200 and wire them at 1 ohm. I know how to do it now, i just dont know how to get to the voice coils

Of the initial listed, I would prefer the PG or Kicker. Not that my preferences help you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

My kikcker box had 2 dvc 4's in it and was wired in series for a 4ohm final load. You may have the same box, but regardless, your subs can be wired to 1ohm if you desire. That terminal is merely stating the ohm load internally when that box was preloaded at the factory..

like mentioned your subs are dual 4 ohm but they have then wired in series than parrallel to get a final 4 ohm load. You need to take the subs out of the box and rewire them like the diagram shows to get a 1 ohm load to the amp.So do each sub seperately and run a wire from the positive of one vc to the positive of the other voice coil and do the same for the negatives of the voice coils, that will give you 2 ohms(each sub) and connect a wire to the positive terminal of one vc on each sub and do the same for the negative, after you do that to both subs connect the positive wires from both subs together to the positive on the terminal cup and do the same with the negative wires to the negative on the terminal cup, this will give you a final load of 1 ohms. Wire the positive from the terminal cup to the positive on the amp and do the same for the negative on the terminal cup to the amp. There ya go, that should be easy enough to understand
