I just paid about $900 with tax for a Clarion NX405 head unit/navigation. Prior to having this system put in, I had an aftermarket Alpine deck professionally installed with no issues. A friend of mine who has done many installs and knows pretty much everything about wiring helped me put the Clarion in. I figured after spending so much, I wouldn't have to deal with any problems. I don't know if anyone on here knows about the security module tied in with all the wiring behind the deck but for some reason, with the 2015 Clarion model, it doesn't like it. From time to time it would start making this annoying scratching sound depending on if the wiring for this module was in a certain position. Just last night, I pulled the clarion out and fiddled with the module a little bit and the noise stopped. I then put everything back in place and the thing started making the noise again. I spent the next 2 hours trying to reposition the stupid module and nothing worked. Now i'm not getting the full audio output in my system as I was before, my left and right turn signal sounds are muted and the scratching sound is non stop. I don't really want to keep pulling the unit out and screwing with it so if anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE COMMENT
