Clarion Head Unit

hey,

I have a Clarion head unit in my car right now, which is kind of old. So I got a newer one, a Clarion DRX6475... any one know the specs on it? and do all Clarions have the same wiring guide? I dont want to install it and find out that it doesnt have what i need and can benefit from.... is there a way i can test it? like connect sertain wires to a battery and have it turn on and i can play with the buttons?

If you want to use your car battery as a power source to do some cursory tests do this:

Connect the black wire in the unit's harness to your battery's negative post.

Connect the red and the yellow wires to the battery's positive post.

The unit should power up and operate now.
