Ok so i have a clairon eqs 746 i installed it sucessfully the first time what i did was i ran the 12 volt wire and tapped it into my remote wire of the eq and ran my remote wire and tapped that into the amp wire of the headunit and ran the ground and tapped that into the ground of my headunit. I know the 12 volt power wire tapping it into the remote wire is retarted but i originally tapped it into the headunit power wire and it wouldnt turn on. So it was working but everytime my bass hit the lights on it would dim and the last 4 knob lights dimmed all the time when the sub wasnt even on. So what i did to make better power supply i ran à power wire straight from my 2nd battery and ground straight from it also and connected those into the eq and kept the remote wire the same and nownit doesnt even turn on so idk what to do?
