which would you choose and why? also, how much of a noticable difference is there between a 16 bit d/a converter and a 24 bit. thanks.

I would go Pioneer, I never had good luck with Clarion. Yes 24bit should be a noticeable difference in most cases.

I prefer Eclipse so that is what I would go with, then probably the pioneer, then that clarion.

go with the pioneer. the 24 bit is better and noticeably to some. get the 860 instead of the 8600 just for the 6 volt preouts and a couple of other features. you can get them for the same price.

yeah the premier 860 even seems to be cheaper on ebay. weird.
