I installed my new clarion HU in a '95 accord today and first i heard sound coming from rear speakers. But then several seconds later, no more sound. I checked my wiring and the harness and the HU wires were correct. Could this be a grounding problem since i use the stock ground? The HU powers up and does everything but put out sound. I checked the wiring for the speakers also and replaced speakers also, but no sound. Any help would be appreciated. THanks
make sure your speaker wires aren't grounding out... do you have a voltmeter? check and make sure any of the terminals on the speaker are not touching metal
i will get one from radioshack at noon today and retest all my wiring. I will also try to run the speaker from the wires coming out of the deck to see if it works. If it does, then the wires running to the back of the car are either dead or something is wrong.
