clarion amps?

anyone have experience with the clarion APA4320? I'm looking for a decent 4 channel amp between 50-100 watts for not too much money, and right now I have a kappa 54a, and the installers said I should think of getting something to replace it, since it is kind of weak. Also, when i turn off my car when the volume is set pretty loud, and turn the engine back on, the speakers distort for like a split second then go back to normal. what is causing that?

I'm using the 4320 right now. I am thoroughly impressed by this amp. I've never used any of the real "high end" stuff like Arc or Tru, but this thing has plenty of power and very clean sound. I've used both the older and the newer Clarion APX lines, and they are a far cry from the quality of the apa4320 in my opinion - especially in the available power category.

The 4ohm #'s look good, yet 2ohm #'s are not too great- for a standard 4ohm stereo application they fit the bill- my lil' brother is actually looking into the 4320

do you guys know what the going price/msrp for these are?

one just went on ebay for 115, plus 20 shipping, but the guy only had 5 fdback. etronics has them for 205, and sounddomain matches + 5% plus has free shipping, so at less than 200 shipped, it seems like a good deal. Then again no one really talks about this amp so i dunno much about it.

I'm not too sure, but I think the relatively small increase in power at 2ohms has something to do with its regulated power supply. On the flipside, i have no doubt it does what it says it will do at 4 ohms.

i have the apa4100 for my 6x9's, i like it, but then again i can't complain my friend just found it and gave it to me.....i traded (2) 12" x 18" sheets of dynamat that i got for free off another friend......i like the amp though.
