Civic si vs Scion tc ..FTW???

ok.. me gettin a new tc or si depends on a 5 minute test drive.. Ahhh i'm such a prick.. If i knew someone doing that to a car i was gonna buy i'd kick his ***.. So how much did u pay for yout tc.. rim, then parts

Scion is one ugly car,a poor mans RSX

and before you jump into a Civic, check the deals on the RSX

Acura has deals on occasion while Honda doesnt deal at all

But of the 2 I would get the Honda over the Scion

all day long, its a better bult car by far

Well too me there are what seems to be two biased people in the thread, which one owns a Scion Tc and the other is a muscle car lover.(Nothing wrong with that) But to be honest the only thing you can do is just test them both out. I personally love the Si when I test drove it and ran like a champ! (I used to hate civics too) I mean the interior is hella nice and the stick is very responsive and smooth. Is also very comfortable and I am a pretty big dood. Let me tell you what, for 197hp car, this thing friggin goesssssssss! If it was me this would be a no brainer. I would spend the extra money on the Si for overall looks and performance.

But, like the one guy said, you could get the tC, which probably is a little better on gas and dump 4g's in it and be there with the Si or even better. But I would rather have something from stock that is already fast and drives well. That way if something does go wrong, then your warranty will cover it. When you start putting a bunch of aftermarket parts in your ride then something happens, they could tell you well, that wasnt on the car before, no wonder it fugged up. Then you could be up shit creek with no paddle.

I say get the Si, orrrrrrrrrrrrrr if you really have some money, then get the VW Gti!! That car is the shiznit!

Good luck either way.

id get a TC..i just think they look better.

I also wouldnt power flush the ******..i know someone who power flushed their dieing ****** and thats what killed it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I would just try a bottle of lucas transmission fix, or seafoam *****-tune.. or if you want just change the tranmission fluid & filter...but i wouldnt pay to have it power flushed... make sure the ****** is nice and warm before the test drive..the ****** in my escort only slips when its cold.

Honda = Acura

RSX are dropping in price because they're being discontinued.

Hm, did'nt know there was a difference between apower flush and changing the fluid.. I thought a flush WAS changing the fluid:eyebrow:

Says the RSX owner...

Type S... maybe... but its +5k over the tC sooo the ends don't justify the means.

Base model... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hilarious.gif.02a037aad04aa96f19982b298a3d70a8.gif

At least one good thing about the tc other than being $4 grand less is its also a hatchback.. little more room for the w7 s in a nice big box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif .. And someone said the tc doesnt compare to honda in the motor and drivetrain area..?? Hmmm seems toyota and kia have the best reports of that area ive looked into, maybe the mags are wrong but im thinkin no:eyebrow:

if you test drive them you will choose the SI. don't forget.. not only does it have the K20 (which the Acura RSX has and is critically acclaimed the fastest Front-WheelDrive four-banger, stock) but it has the LSD ****** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Why would you laugh at somebody for getting a tC over an Si? The tC is a great car and its much cheaper then an Si. You can get the TRD Supercharger thrown on at the dealer and you will eat Si's for lunch and still be saving money!! Civics = No Torque!!

I vote for the tC:)

ok i meant to say if your daddy gave u a choice of getting an SI or a TC i would laugh at you if you chose the TC.. unless you chose it due to finiancial reasons.. but if you think a TC is better than an SI regardless of price, then i'd laugh at you.
