Civic hatches are the shit, look tight and can be made very fast for cheap. 92 civic hatch plus H22 = tear up your dads mustang (as long as its not a cobra)

my boy has a 93 vx hatch with a fully worked h22 sitting at 2.4 and integra type r ****** puttin down 268hp 200ft/t

Integra Type R ****** mates up to a B series block. Explain how he's got it hooked up to an H22? I'm pretty sure the only trannies that fit the H22 are the ones off of an H22, H23, F22, or F23 (Accords and Preludes).

Impressive dyno numbers though (I'm assuming non-boosted or anything?)

if you looking to go fast i wouldn't get a civic, i had a g35 sedan and loved it, but stay away from an older benz like numb nuts said, parts are expensive, nice classy cars nonetheless but it comes with pros and cons

numb nuts, huh? Sorry, but i would take almost any benz over a honda any day. Parts are not that bad when you know how to use the internet and when you can actually do the work yourself. I like hondas and all...but everybody and their mothers got one.

Well, not really looking to go fast. Hard to explain, and lol i mentioned a magnum at around 12k that would be too much, doubt ill just go ahead and get a g35. Mainly want the hatch just because of how cheap they can be worked on and well duh its a hatch = sound. I wouldnt feel bad removing the back seats. Im sure id give it a little power, but nothing like 300 hp trying to race corvettes on the highway or anything.

How difficult is it to swap a h22a into a 94-99 civic? Would def want a manual ******, not concerned with turbo'ing it, atleast not for a while.

im partial to the 190 cosworth...early 90's, late 80's...but its probably older then your looking for. Im more into the old mercedes diesels actually convert them to waste veggie oil

If looking to get something thats small displacement and go fast, i like the 1st gen talons/eclipses/lasers. Youll drop a bit into them to make them fast though...

Looks pretty good, only one on ebay (190 cosworth) is 15 grand..ill pass for now.

Considering just throwing a v8 into my colorado, should be about 5-6 grand, easy 350 stock hp. Could always just wall it off with 4 15s for some sound. Decisions decisions.
