is it just me, or are christians and mormons the only people who solicitize (is that a word?) their religion? I mean seriously, you think you are becoming this "better" human being because you pry into everyone else's lives and annoy the hell out of them. I would love to meet you in real life so i can rip you and your beliefs apart considering that christianity contradicts itself over and over again, there is little to no truth in your religion. stop whoring yourself and your religion out to people who dont want to hear it, wake up and learn that it is all just for churches to get your money (TBN network, need i say more).

just leave and never come back.

and for the record, i am not an atheist, i simply woke up and realized how corrupt most, if ot all, religions have become. I am a good person and if god needs me to do stupid things like make these threads in order to get in to heaven, **** him. I believe i will go because i have good morals and live a good life, if that isn't enough then he isn't much of a god.

I never said he thinks his religion is better than others, nor did i say that my opinion is right, it is simply mine. What i did rip him on was feeling the need to ***** himself and his religion out.

well, I for one hope that it gains a lot of popularity. I checked it out and it seems like it could be a cool forum that will target the younger christian crowd (people in the teens and 20's) and maybe evan some no christians. I love to listen to christian alt rock and christian metal. And most of you probably say "How Gay" but most have not ever heard or exp it so would not know that it isnt any different than any other music except it does not has a negative meaning. I also listen to alot of post modern, hard rock, and hardcore metal. I am what you would consider a struggling christian I know were my heart is and I know the truth but I have a hard time staying on the right path .

Maybe some just feel ashamed or threatened by it because of the choices they have made

Im not really into Horing out religion but me and some friends wanted a forum were we could post stuff with out the threads turning into this the reason I posted it here was so that any one who felt the same way on ssm could join

I was browsing the Termpro OT and ran across those threads. Man, you cannot have a civil discusion about religion anywhere anytime with anyone. Someone always gets thier feelings hurt. I beleive in God and I keep him in my heart, but I don't claim to be any type of denomination nor do I attend any church. I don't feel I have to just to be closer to God. If I want to talk to him I will, he resides in me.

take this to another forum. not this one. but since it is then i will add my opinion. religion is what killed the 3000 plus people on september 11 2001. religion is killing people all the time. because religion has been drilled into our heads as a belief instead of an idea people have gotten to the point of wanting to kill because other people dont BELIEVE the same way they do. a person shouldnt have to go to a certain place(church,mosque,etc.) to talk to god. that can be done while sitting on the toilet as far as im concerned(i have done that a time or two especially around the hoilday eat-a-thons!!) if you live your life going on what a book tells you then you need to wake up and smell the roses! the most popular version of the bible is the king james version. that means it was written under the rule of king james. well, my history lessons taught me that king james screwed his mom. he didnt know it was his mother but if someone is having *** with someone that is old enough to be their mother that throws up a big red flag for me. especially when my relegious ideas are involved. one more thing, if king james didnt want something(or wanted something for that matter) in the bible then it didnt(or did) get put in. he was king and his word was final. use your brain people and think for yourself. dont put all your faith in a book. just remember, no one knows what happens to you after you die. everyone only has an IDEA of what happens. so why not live your life to the fullest and enjoy the time that you have here!!!
