Insurance is so ****ING EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there ANY way (besides going on my parents policy.. they don't want to take the risk, WHAT THE ****, TWICE), that I can get a lower rate. Right now its $2,850 in a SIX MONTH PERIOD, goddammit.

jesus christ, dat' a shit load of money. i hope that's like a norm for someone in ur age in FL.

another way to make it cheaper is to only get the stuff that u r required to. some stuff u might not need to get, but if u get into an accident u might be on ur own.

This is with the lower possible plan I can get, but still having insurance. There are so many things I can name that aren't fair, its not funny.

1) I drive better than anyone in my house (save my stepdad, he drives so.... weird)

2) In the year that I have been driving with my parents, I've only hit one thing, which was a cat that ran in front of me.

3) My sister's plan at my age was LESS THAN HALF of what mine is, her's was $1,200 for 6months.

It just doesn't make sense. I'd just like to thank all the overflowing testosterone levels of guys there are where I live.

every young guy pays the same as you. theres no way around it so get used to it.

best thing you can do is get a gas effecient 4 door,small engine, dark color, cheap car

Also, the car I was gonna get is a stock 94' Celica.

There are a few pluses that I have though when it comes to improving my cars though. My good friend's dad is a mechanic and he can cut me great deals. And my step brother is gonna let me have his system because he's getting a motorcycle. I still hate it though.. Deciding weather or not to get insurance and get into an accident is a big choice. I got 2 months to think.

Dude I am 18 years old my plan is only liability and comes to $612 for every 6 months. U can’t get this plan if u are making payments on your car. also get good grades, take defensive driving class, and there is something called the "YES program” in this program u are made to watch 2 videos about 1 hour long and then your insurance agent will ask u some questions about how to drive safe, never let a friend borrow your car etc. it takes off 35% from your insurance rate.

That's the way things go, I pay 4200 a year with a $1500 deductable.

dude wtf kinda car do u drive?my insurance is round 500$.get a 3.0 and above and that lowers ur insurance.GET A CHEAPER CAR.i drive a 86 jeep cherokee aka Tha Piece hehe...you must have urself a benz or soemthin dude.cuz **** that expensive

Wow...I'm paying about 1200 a year on 2 cars, both full coverage...one with a V8 (considered sport/sedan). It'll go down as you get older.

I was looking at quotes from progressive, and a few other insurance companies. I was going to get either, 94' Integra/Celica or a mid to late 90s 626. The ones I wanted to get aren't gonna be more than $5,000. Another thing, is that you guys might be on your parents insurance. I can't get on their insurance, they dont want to take the risk incase I get in a crash.
