I hope you're in high school. Back then it was amusing to get horrid grades for bragging rights. It'll pay off sooner or later when you can't get into a college you wanna go to. I learned the hard way.

I doubt most community colleges would take someone that doesn't have a high school diploma...unless you graduated HS when you were 14 or so? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The earliest I think you can go @ my school is if you have or will be obtaining your GED by the time the school semester starts. So if you drop out of high school at 16, then grab your GED, you could be in school within a short period.

But if you can't even spell college...I highly doubt you're in college.

You'd be amazed what kind of people they let into college these days.

Take for example my freshman CORE class. This was the basic entry class that every freshman had to take, it involved writing papers, reading, discussion, and whatnot.

There was this one girl in my class that couldn't write a coherent sentance to save her life. Now, that's bad enough in itself, but the real thing that got me was that to get into my college (private university) is that you had to WRITE AN ENTRY ESSAY!!!

Makes me wonder who wrote the essay for her. That or if they just felt bad for her or something. Either way, i've met A TON of people that have no business being in college, let alone at a university. Needless to say, most of those people dropped out/transferred after freshman year.

That's one of the good things about a technical school - very high attrition rates. If you can survive your first year above a 2.5 or so, you're golden. Out of the people I lived with in the dorms last year, a good fraction of them aren't back...or the ones that are are a semester or two behind and are playing catch up with their credit hours.

While I'm ahead and am being kicked out of my comfortable little Undecided category...bastages...

shit in washington state you can do this program called 'running start' you're enrolled in HS and attend community college. You get HS credit for the CC credits you earn. So when you graduate from HS you can have up to an AA. I did it for a while when it first started, but before i got enough HS credits to graduate i just got my GED and moved away and enrolled in another CC. Then preceded to get loaded and drop out. Now im back in school like jerri blank ;( Dont be a stranger with candy.
