Message: <blockquote data-quote="tommyk90" data-source="post: 1522411" data-attributes="member: 545293">You'd be amazed what kind of people they let into college these days.Take for example my freshman CORE class.  This was the basic entry class that every freshman had to take, it involved writing papers, reading, discussion, and whatnot.There was this one girl in my class that couldn't write a coherent sentance to save her life.  Now, that's bad enough in itself, but the real thing that got me was that to get into my college (private university) is that you had to WRITE AN ENTRY ESSAY!!!Makes me wonder who wrote the essay for her.  That or if they just felt bad for her or something.  Either way, i've met A TON of people that have no business being in college, let alone at a university.  Needless to say, most of those people dropped out/transferred after freshman year.</blockquote>
