we opened up the "repaired" pioneer HU i got back, they only replayed the RCAS, but not the Blown, pico fuse im assuming?

any input on what exactly this is.

and how to repair it?

ive heard that infact its not a fuse, but a diode.

You can drop a small dot of solder on it and it will be fine. There was thread around from awhile back that went over what to do with it.
What exactly do u mean drop solder on it?? Like use to form a trace for it to flow threw? Im a biomed major, i dont see how dropping solder on it would help. Just wondering how that would actually affect the circuit.

 
no thats a transistor i believe, ide call them and let em know they sent u back a HU with fryed transistor

yeah i got sound plus tons of distortion, so i unhooked the HU, and ran my phone through a RCA y cable, good as great sound
