Check This Box For Me, First Time I've Designed

This is the first real design that I've tried to do with my program... I went through alot of different boxes, but finally found one that shows to perform way better than the other... If someone could try the same thing and see if it's right, then I'd appreciate it...

Box Type: IsoBarik/Ported

Number Of Drivers: 2

Dimensions: Width-36

Depth-26

Height-14

MDF Thickness: .75

Number Of Ports: 2

Port Length: 3.62

Port Width: 4

Frequency: 36Hz

And Begin Partion 17-5/8 from the end

Using 12" 05 L7's with a Orion 1200D behind them...

I hope it is like the graph shows... If so it should slam...

Your doing the l7's right? If so the graph say's 4" ports thats a no-no! Slotted vent on those subs.

I haven't figured out how do match the length and width of the port with the Hz I want... And my program tells me how long to make the round ports... But you say self destruct? Are you bein sarcastic, or are you meaning it will have so much bass? On the graph it showed almost a 6 DB increase... But like I said... I have no idea, this is the first time I've designed a box before...

Nothings wrong with round ports, just for the L7's I think the slotted or square vents would be a better move, I would call kicker tech support and ask them about enclosure desing for your vehicle. I found that the techs of most manufactorors have extensive knowledge on there product.

Man... I've been on this program for hours... And I can't seem to do much... I really want port/ports and subs on top... And I want it to be loud as hell... Everytime I try and make any ported box with a rectangle/slot port... My program says OVERFLOW! and shuts down... Anybody have any ideas of a goos plan to try?

6ft^3 @ 34-36hz? I've heard 3ft^3 is good for the 12" L7's but I could be wrong...

dude, slotted/round, SAME THING. i prefer aeroports over slot ports, easier to change the tuning and no port noise. learn before you speak.
