Check this Autotek out.

LOL triple LOL.... that is some funny *** shiz... It's almost worthless without the transformers and caps etc.... And it's not old, that's some new stuff, the old Autoteks don't have light up logos etc.... LOLZ
wtf u lol'n so much for.

who said it was OS?

The OP said he was looking for Old School and came across it. I was just pointing out that it was not an Old School Autotek.

It's just really funny (to me) that someone would be selling an amp on ebay, even for parts, that is missing some major components like the power supply transformers. Never seen anyone else do that before, so I laughed hard at it. But then again, I don't troll ebay much, just go there when I need some BS stuff for real cheap.

Maybe the FETs are sandwiched between the board and the sink like a Soundstream.

That still doesn't explain the lack of transformers.

Interesting nonetheless.

word

it clearly says broken amp for parts......
It actually says "borken"...

The point is, that it's not repairable, period, and all of the worthwhile parts are gone. I wouldn't give him $35 for it. Maybe $5.

I don't know what the deal is with the transistors and mosfets. I doubt they are under the board, but that doesn't explain why there are no screw holes... wacky....

We have 2 here. One is for a customer, we just need to finish it, getting time for all these repairs is getting to be a burden so we are taking in less stuff now unless it's commercial work.... The other MM4000.1 we have here will be for sale before too much longer, just need to finish rebuilding it. It belongs to the shop... it's borken, but rebuildable.

I know some of you probably think I am playing on the forums all day not working, but not true, the computer is on my bench, working on amps right next to me on the same desk. Rebuilt 3 SAE-1200D's today already... will be starting on the 4th in just a moment, all the while playing on the forums too...

here is a photo of the same make, Different model, Clearly the amp is a factory defect you can see in the photo below that the FETS are mounted on the heatsink. The 5 channel amp has no holes for the FET clamps.

what goes out on those mm4000.1s , do you feel that they do rated power. sorry for thread jack.

Also if you notice were the Fuse is on the 5 channel that there is no Power Wires leading to the board like the other amp in the photo.

lol Hopefully someone from Maxxsonics will see this and sheed some light.

Poor seller probably bought this amp new and has no idea wft is going on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
