They don't really look alike apart from the general body shape, the GT40 is far more curvacious though. Trust me, if you've seen it driving around before, it's not a GT40. Car is worth half a mil + these days.
An original gt40 is worth more than half a mil . Bodies are kind of similar. Considering the gt40 was a race car ,with the eception of one model, mk iv I think . The interior in the new gt's actually looks like a street car . There really isn't much interior in a gt40. Seat , some gauges , and a wheel. show me the mods available for that car to put out 800+ to the wheels and i'll believe that. until then i don't. not to mention 0-100 under 5 seconds is faster than any other car in the world so again i stick to bullshit. the veyron is right around 7 seconds, the F1 is at 6.3 so you're talking 2 seconds faster than a Veyron, 1.3 faster than the F1 and about 1.5 seconds faster than the Koenigsegg CCR. So there is no possible way they dropped a whopping 3.2 seconds off the stock 0-100 in that GT. Again being fed a gigantic load of bullshit couldn't feel well but obviously it was taken with a smile.

anything can be done to that motor. port/polish, bored over, completely reworked heads, upgraded exhaust and induction, bigger cam(s), a completely upgraded valvetrain, built ******, theres a LOT that can be done to ANY car. Its not complete bolt-on's that get you over that mark, but it IS quite simple when comparing other motors to it.

i see those all the time were i live.i see aston martins,bentlys,rolls roice,lambos,etc,on a daily bacis....it nothing speical.just a ford

you must be in dad county or lower.......its not a rare occassion in central florida but its deffinately not making it "just a ford" i lived in orlando for 10 years and just recently (when i went back) saw my first pair of bentley gt's on the highway and ive seen lambos daily there, as a few were in my area. gt's not really, wouldnt say never but its not "just a ford"

considering my friends car can get upto 60 from a dead stop in under ~3 seconds (1800lbs 450hp mid engine) i dont find it har to believe that the GT can get to 100 in 5 when its been tuned for such.
under 3 seconds without slicks? proof on that or i don't buy it. i've never heard of nor seen a GT that runs 0-100 under 5 seconds either so i still don't buy it. regardless of if the car might be able to do it i just don't buy it.

well now i know you dont know what you are talking about. i first thought you were talking about a vw too until you mentioned r34. either way you are retaded. gt >>>>>>>>>>> any skyline. second r32s are old, cheap, and nothing special. a guy here in town has an r32. great. they can be had for less than 20-30k fully converted.

and r34's are coming soon? you know that r34's have been out for a while now and are no longer in production. the R35 body style is already out in Japan and in america as the G35. They next gen G35 will be the same as the American and Japanese GT-R. I dont know if they will keep R35 or make it R36 because the changes are pretty subtle. it should be released as a 2008 or 2009 model.
