And they sound 10x as good as they look. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

how much were those?

im not a fan of plastic dustcaps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

prolly because they use the same motor and basket ;P

who manufactures ID?

i dunno what it is, but the surround on them OZ's looks really nice - i like the tall surrounds rather than the fat ones. wouldnt it give more cone area too? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Can someone explain to me how an IDMax basket is identical to the one above? And how exactly can you properly identify them using the same internal motor structure?Enough with the BS....Nice subs BTW

he never said it was identical.

he said they looked similar.

i said they might use the same motor. but its purely speculation. it seems to me that they might use the same tooling for the backplate. and it looks like they both have triple slugs.

i was simply asking who the buildhouse is for each company. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I'm quite sure I know what the meaning of 'similar' is, and that basket is not quite so. And REQ you did not say 'might'....you said

prolly because they use the same motor and basket ;P
Not intentionally busting your balls, but some people on this forum look at your post count and will take that misinformation as fact

It just seems , as the two drivers performance has been compared in the past, that now people assume or are speculating that the subs are mechanically linked somehow or that they are equivalent in some regards.

And ID subs are manufactured by ID. They are OEM'ers and a build house. The question should be who builds OZ driverrs.
