After seeing more than my share of melted down vehicles in the 20 years I have been installing, your comment of "The differance between that story and this one... we're not retarded." just does not fit. For the simple expense of some fuse holders you are gambling with all you have invested in the vehicle and the system that something might not short out, or might not get pinched in a minor collision. Protect your investment dude. I should copy and paste that pic and post it as the most ghetto install ever for lack of fusing and see how many people agree with me.
Perhaps in your trailer park it is alright for you to do, for myself as a professional installer, it is people like you that give the industry a bad name.
Fukking lawl...
I'm a professional installer as well bud, this is my personal vehicle... and I have taken different precautions.
I have QUITE A FEW fancy pants Kicker fuse holders, like the one you see be the amp in the rear. I
CHOSE not to use them, b/c they were superfluous.
If you wanted to be entirely a ******... and live in the world of WHAT-IFs... then you would have to fuse within a few inches of the front battery... AND a few inches of the rear battery. As well as... my alternator leads (which haven't been fused for over 3.5years.
So that's... 8fuse holders/fuses.... just for the electrical side... not to mention the actual inline to the amps. Those EIGHT are absolutely superfluous. The conduit is ribbed, is oil... water... and heat resistant. That's why it was chosen. Not to mention how thick and resiliant it is... as well as the jacket on the wire itself.
The conduit is my protection... it's my "piece of mind" instead of a a bajillion fuses.
Please go back to super duper 12v.com, and continue to right your gay articles that nobody cares about. At least there... you
feel like you're special... instead of being a what-if piece of shit like you truly are here... and in real life.
I'll continue to live... (no where near a trailer park mind you... Mr. *** packer)... and have a dandy good time... not living in what-ifs.
Oh, your name is quite funny as well. It'll probably be similar to what you see next time you try to visit this site.
