Cheapest amp for between 1200-2000rms

The GTO 1400.1 is a 1500 RMS @ 2ohm Amp CEA complaint.

Pssppp.. I have this amp on my 2 P1224 @ only 4 ohm (1200RMS) you wont be dissapointed esp at 1500RMS....

Rock Solid, and get them at pretty cheap prices if you look.. picked mine up from Harman Intl. for 80 bucks plus shipping.. just look around..

the ap 15001 can be ran at .5ohm daily. they get touchy @.35 about goin into protection...
Running 1000 on an average sized alt (let's say, 100A) is touchy, you'd have to have a few batteries to consider doing this.

Not trying to insult, but if the OP has to ask what a cheap 1200W amp is, I doubt he has the electrical to run such an amp, let alone the knowledge of what it takes to run such an amp, at 0.5 ohm.

I was dropping to low 11s with the big three, a 90A alt, and only 1kW. I can only imagine the disastrous results of 1800 @ 0.5 with no electrical.

You asked for an amp in your message for an amp to push 12-1500w RMS at 2ohm.. they gave you what you asked for :p...... Rest my case..

Hello, i am looking for the cheapest amp that will run around 12-1500wrms at a 2ohm load. The amp will be powering 2x pioneer premier pro 3002D2 subs rated at 1000wrms/3500wmax. I was looking at a Power Acoustic LFA1-5500D, or BAMF 5500 amp. They are reasonably priced and should do at least 1000wrms.

Yes i agree, and thank you all for the help and suggestions. I will consider the JBL. I am curious though as to where i could even find a AP1800D? Do they pop up on ebay from time to time?

Audiopipe 1800 Watt Class D Power Amplifier, 1 Ohm Stable and Variable Subsonic Filter. AP18001D

Dont know about that website if its legit or not.. Amazon has them but they are over 300.. I might be wrong but the way the wording looks it looks like that 1800 is max power.. not rms.. you might check that out.. getting closer to the RMS of both subs would be ideal.. but if you cant afford the change yo, go with the JBL at 1500 youll be suprised what that pup can do yo!

But i would consider your electrical system and how much $$ your gonna invest to get the thing to run its potential ie: I have a 1400.1 with my 2 12's i pound sure.. but my **** *** electrical system cant keep up.. so im just gonna bide my time till i get my truck so i can put dual alts in it and extra bats..

Gonna get a power stroke
