bare minimum for a type r would be an alpine mrp m450 400 watt mono amp. $130-$150

thats really pushing it too (not talking about the sub lol). if we're going cheap go for the type r d4 so it can be ran at 2ohm because finding a cheap 1ohm stable mono amp will be impossible.
