Cheapest 2000w+ Amp?

Im not usually the one to do this but I need to have an amp that would run at .5 ohms and put out some power, enough to run 4 12 L7s, I was thinking something like 2 Brutus 1500d but I dont have that kind of money... thinking

And what about BOSS amps, I mean ive heard people say get them because they're cheap, whats wrong with them

Pretty sure they are just made with bad quality and dont do near rated power...

my amp right now is only about 800 at most, i dont even think its doing that much...

Nothing is horrible about Hifonics. I love mine, havent had any trouble.

Some people have had problems with the 1 ohm stability. When they ran it at 1 ohm, supposedly the amp woudl go into protect mode. I dont really know though, I have never had that problem. Seemed to be a problem a while back and not so much now.

Also, the amps are supposedly over-rated a little bit. For example, the BX1500D which is rated at 1500 watts x 1 @ 1 ohm, supposedly only puts out around 1300 watts at 1 ohm.

Now adays you can get a hifonics for under 200 on ebay or at a flea market

the new hifonics are supposed to do rated power...i read an article somewhere that the new ones out are a lot better than the old ones and do rated power...so hifonics wouldn't be a bad choice...
