he's on a budget to go with a RF 1000.1.

but if I was to recommend a great RF amp, it would be the t300.2

Most birth out 850-900 RMS @ 2 ohm.

Amazing power for 139.99 price!

Yes he is but he also mentioned he might go a little higher.

OK RF T10001bd 370

Orion HCCA 300

total 670

I'd like to see that setup, that HCCA is 2000rms and the RF amp is rated at almost 1600. Just a thought

HCCA's do good with 2500 RMS, 1600 would be short stocking.

id say 2000.1bd but thats off topic and I'd hate to thread jack

I'd like to see that link, I briefly Google'd it and didn't find that in any of the specks, including the RF site.

to the OP. I urge you to get the amp first and find out if you need a dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm RE SX for a perfect match up.

Also make sure you get a box build to specs. Great boxes make great subs, not the other way around //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

purchased two new ones on ebay (not 140 liek the referbs)

but one did 903 RMS, the other 891 RMS @ 2 ohm.

The referbs is the same my guess would be because I didn't notice a difference

and for under 140 buck each, I cannot complain.

so your saying that a t10001bd with a HCCA would not work. I kind of prefer my sub to be a tad stronger than my amp. I'm just asking cause my friend was interested in this setup, I think it might work fine. pros and cons:confused:

Thats amazing. I don't know why people complain about the RF amps being overpowered:crap:

Always better to keep your amp 100-110% of the sub's rating.
