cheap sound deadener that works

i would of just used expanda foam for sound deadener...it works pretty well...but its your truck...doesnt look to bad...tell us how it sounds when u get some subs in there

I dont think there will be a problem with smell after it is cured, I have used this ruberized coating a lot and when it cures it cures, it may take a little while to cure but it dries fast. It may stay a little soft for awhile. BTW It looks good, and if it works as far as road noise then it serves its purpose. GREAT IDEA. That spray in dura-liner may do the trick as well..

I tried about 10 cans of spray in rubberized undercoating but it took that many just to coat the back of my truck 3 times. And that was only about 1/8" thick and not as strong or tough as this stuff. So I put this stuff over it. I hope to have the stereo completly done in a month depending on weather and if I can find another Orion XTR amp.

Im was talking about the Spray on dura-liner like they use in the bed of pick up trucks, not undercoating. But you should be fine with what you have done. Let me know how it sounds when you get it finished.

I was thinking of that as well but could not find anything cheap. Herculiner has some stuff but it was real expensive. I'll let you know how the final product is when I get the whole system installed again.
