Well, i seem to of melted voice coils or something on my IDQ which totally pisses me off because i had the gain set 3/4, never higher and you can hear something that sounds like tensil slap but i think it the coils. i havnt taken it out and examinded it yet just because i am so angry. Buttt i think imma sell it to someone locally that doesnt really care about the SQ because it gets pretty loud. I am thinking about going with one MAW 15" with the same TMA amp. Can someone please tell me a website. I have seen it before but i didnt find anything on a search on here or yahoo or anything. Are there any other good cheap subs like the maw?

Dont set your gains at an arbitrary point. Set em using a digital Multi meter, using a test tone. You may have had the gains too high the whole time...

My local audio shop had some Older model memphis MClass subs they were selling for like $85 apiece. Check around your local shops and see if they have any new, but outdated equipment.

well, image dynamics says they can handle up to 600rms i believe. i did not even have 500rms going to it and there should not of been any clipping, deff. not any audible distortion

FOr the price, no Mach5 is the best I know of at that price bracket.
