Another advantage to two way systems is that they're usually cheaper, so it's helpful if you're on a tight budget. Less crossover parts, less drivers, that sort of thing.
Ok, so are you talking about speakers under the prosound section or the home section? Because i'll be running this off a 100 watt per channel reciever.
Ok, so do you think those will sound better and be louder than my KLH speakers? And i'm also going to need help with 2 more things from you guys, what do i do for crossovers for those speakers, and how do i wire them inside the box?
Many people go with the bookshelf speakers and a sub. I wouldn't be so concerned about the power. As Jack Frost said, 100w RMS without clipping is plenty. My receiver spits out 110w RMS min and it fires out more power than I could ever want. So much that my 200w RMS speakers can't handle it.
Ok, so now you're just confusing me, do you mean a 3 way bookshelf speaker and a subwoofer? Do i use 2 mid's and a tweeter on a bookshelf speaker? Or a small woofer, a mid and a tweeter?
