Cheap .5ohm stable 2000 watt'er...

Title pretty much says it. I think i wanna do 2 seperate amps for my Power HX2s instead of 1 monster. Whats a suitable 2kw amp stable .5ohm?

yeah..... id love to have one. Actually id prolly need 2.

My dillemma:

4 dual 2 10" Power HX2s.

either 2 sets of .5 ohm..... or 1 ohm final load.

Descisions Descision.

Im gonna need like.... 4kw at 1, or 2kw @ .5 x2.

Your best bet would be XX-Hercules/sundown 1500 (with proper electrical)

they can be had around $400 used on egay/forums

u need a 40.1....was gonna suggest a MA Audio HK4000d but thats only 2 ohm stable i think

you can try it but you'll get less than 2500 watts at 1 ohm

yeah stupid. its more efficient with one amp that does that much power.

if your on a budget, like i said above, would be your best bang for your dollar

You mentioned the sundown. They dont do that much @ 1 ohm... do they? I need like 4kw at 1ohm.

u mentioned two seperate amps. so get 2 sundown 1500s and wire them to .5.. make sure you got the electrical to back them up.

Get some Memphis 4kw's.. & be done w/it.
